Some REALLY cringe-worthy music!!! SEXCAPADES!!! FRENCH SURREALIST ART!!! ROM-COMS!!! THE GODS ARE CRAZY!!! THE STARS ARE BLIND!!! MORE BAD MUSIC!! YOU HAVE LEARNED TO PLAY THE VIOLIN!! SOME SHIT ABOUT MY WORK THAT I'M PROUD OF!!! TWEEN OLIVIA SCREAMS AND JUMPS UP AND DOWN IN THE CORNER!!! & real love baby…

“So this week I remembered I have to practice what I preach. So I took myself out to a booty-shaking dance class. That felt so free and expressive and delicious and I remembered that my easiest access point to the sensual energy inside my body is through dance. Which I’ll come back around to later. And I ate copious amounts of delicious things, and I arranged flowers in my kitchen, and I made candles, and then I got in my car and I drove to Maine. Where I proceeded to walk through the door of my lovers’ house, unload my bags, and tear their clothes off their body. Because ohhhhh goddess did I forget how divine it is to have someone love everything I do. So completely. Who wants to bathe in me. Who is truly devoted in every way. And we’ve been through a lot together. But I have gotta say, one thing works and always works reall good. And that’s pretty much any time we are horizontal. There is never any discomfort, awkwardness, or weirdness. It’s all a gently choreographed perfectly executed 2-hour long number that consistently surprises me every time. And there’s something I said to them at the beginning of the relationship when everything was fresh and new and romantic when they said they hadn’t ever been in a long-term relationship, I said “Ohh my god you are missing the best part!!! The Sex!!” And they were like, “better than this, this has already fulfilled like even more fantasies than I knew I had.” And I was like, “Oh no just you wait, there’s this magic thing that happens about a year in, once you get passed the honeymoon period, and that period where you think you’re probably gonna break up, and a couple of other phases, and then there’s the magic, it’s pure and raw and physical, and at the same time it’s meticulous.” You’ve learned to play the violin for the last year and now here you are perfectly executing a concerto, and you get to the crèchendo and you dance there with complete confidence. And you are like finely tuned machines. My body is a weapon, my body is a temple my body is a vessel my body is a tool that brings me closer to the knowing of being alive. One of my favorite pieces of art of all time is Man Rey, Le Violon d'Ingres The Violin of Ingres. Man Rey a famous French surrealist photographer painted violin sound holes onto the lower back of a portrait of a nude woman in 1924, it is to date the most expensive photograph ever sold at auction. The model was a lover of Man Rey’s. The title is a French idiom that means “hobby” denoting playing the violin as a hobby, but also that playing her like a violin was his hobby. All of that to say, after a period of time, we find a shared rhythm. A melting into another person that can only happen from a place of comfort, safety, and communication. And boy do we do that well. OOO. And I needed not just a little but a lot of that to remember why I even do the work I do. Because there is another side to that dark room you were trapped in, there is someone that will study you, who will hold you without keeping you captive. There is someone whose hands will erase harshness from your body. Who will actively repair any safety or trust that has been broken between you with diligence, care, and right action. And this is why I do the work I do. To help people come back to themselves. So that eventually they can be so fulfilled in connection to another person that there is nothing left out.

So with that, let’s listen to a totally irreverent dance number that hilariously matches a man Rey creation from 1924, here’s Put Your Graffiti On Me, a cringe-worthy classic by Kat Graham. Followed by the formidable Christina Aguilara with GET MINE, GET YOURS!! Hello, sexy.”
